Olmeca Tequila is a high-quality tequila, created in the Los Altos region of Jalisco, Mexico, known for producing the best blue agave plants. Olmeca is created with quality, not efficiency in mind, so the blue agave plants are slow-cooked in a brick oven to release the plant’s finest flavours. TAKE YOUR BEATS BACK TO SCHOOL WITH DJ FERRY CORSTEN AND OLMECA TEQUILA

INTRODUCTION   World-renowned DJ Ferry Corsten has teamed up with Olmeca Tequila to host ‘Be the DJ’, an exclusive DJ school in Rotterdam next year – and you could be there.

If you think you deserve a chance to hone your remixing skills with one of the world’s top 10 DJs, then visit Olmeca Tequila’s website http://olmecatequila.com/bethedj, where all aspiring DJs are invited to download and remix a Ferry Corsten track created exclusively for Olmeca – ‘Check This Out (5AM remix)’ – a remix of a track taken from his forthcoming album due for release early in 2012.

Hopefuls can enter from today until October 24th 2011, when Ferry will decide who has made the grade and deserves an invitation to learn the ropes and ‘Be the DJ’ with him in the studio. The budding DJ who shows the most promise on the day will then be invited to open Ferry’s set at one of his gigs next year.

Olmeca Tequila has long been associated with dance music, having hosted exuberant, multi-sensory club nights for party people around the world, including “Olmeca Gold Fever” events in Russia and “Olmeca Dimension” parties in South Africa. The link-up with Ferry Corsten is their biggest music project to date.
